Most of the Mindcrackers use the default texture pack, though Anderz has used the Faithful pack (very close to default) and Bdubs used the hi-res version of the default pack. In the latest podcast Guude mentions that Zisteau played with a texture pack but after joining Mindcrack he switched to default because so many of his viewers complained about his texture pack.
I am curious as to why there are so many 'purists' who hate watching people play Minecraft with texture packs. I've always preferred them to default because they look better and because I absolutely hate the default glass texture with a white-hot loathing (I nearly always build bases with windows and a glass ceiling). So can someone explain why they hate texture packs?
